Summer is coming, and the music festivals’s season too!

If you are looking for the energy and the thrill of a live experience, choose your destination among the festival we selected for you… These are the European music festivals not to be missed in 2018.

 

The Primavera Sound Festival, in Barcelona from 30th of May to 3th of June is going to start soon. This year, this is the most in vogue European festival and the performing schedule is exciting: Björk, The National, Lorde, Belle and Sebastian among others.

 

For those people who loves electro music, Ultra Europe is the date! From 6th July to 8th the city of Split (Croatia) will host the show, with the Afrojack, David Guetta, Marshmello, Alesso and many others.

 

The best of pop and Indie will star in Sziget Festival (8-15 of August, Budapest, Hungary). This year, among the main protagonists, Dua Lipa, Arctic Monkeys, Kygo, Mumford and Sons, will be the protagonist of a “Love Revolution”, a revolution using the power of our community, guided by love, to support causes that could help our planet become a better place.

 

Is there someone that cannot renounce the rock and heavy metal music? The Download Festival in Derby, UK (8-10 of June) is the answer! The performances of artists like Guns N’ Roses, Avenged Sevenfold, Marilyn Manson and Ozzy Osborne, will fill the lack of the most popular English Festival, Glastonbury, that this year is taking a break.

 

Pohoda Festival is for those who desire to visit the beautiful city of Trenčin in the Slovak Republic. From 5th to 7th July (for over 20 years), this festival will host artists from many different musical genres.

This year the lineup: Chemical Brothers, Jamie Cullum, St Vincent, Glass Animals.

 

For the nightlife lovers: Sònar 2018, in Barcelona from June 14th to 16th. The 25th edition will host in lineup Bonobo, Gorillaz, LCD Soundsystem, Diplo and Wiley.

 

Created to raise money for the largest monkeys’ reserve in Bolivia, Pete the Monkey (from 12 to 14 of July) is a family-friendly festival in the seaside village of Saint-Aubin-sur-Mer in Seine-Maritime, Upper Normandy. The lineup is yet to be released but expect a summery blend of indie pop, disco and electronic – past acts include Acid Arab, Blue Hawaii, We Were Evergreen, Songhoy Blues and Nicola Cruz.

 

For Those who are going to stay in Italy: “the Sounds of the Dolomites” from 7 July to 31 August (translated into Italian: “I Suoni delle Dolomiti”). A lot of famous musicians will play in the incredible setting of the Dolomites, in Trentino. Some of them will also attend the excursions!

This year, among the not-to-be-missed: Maio Brunello, the Kremerata Baltica Chamber Orchestra and Mandolin superstar Avi Avital.
